The internal motion sensors are designed with pet immunity to help reduce false alarms caused by smaller animals. Pets under approximately 18kg are generally ignored by the motion detection, while larger animals may trigger the system. This allows the internal security layer to remain effective without everyday pet movement constantly setting off the alarm.

The internal alarm layer is primarily designed to protect your home while the property is unoccupied — when you’re at work, out for dinner, away for the weekend or on holiday. When your family is home, the internal system doesn’t need to be armed in the same way, allowing normal movement throughout the house. When nobody is home, your 2-Layer Security System can take over and help watch and protect the property for you.

You’re not left on your own once the installation is finished. Our 7 / 30 / 365 Care Plan means we proactively check in after 7 days, 30 days and 365 days to make sure everything is operating as intended and address relevant settings or configuration changes where needed.

No. With our 5-Year SCKA Warranty Support, SCKA remains your point of contact for covered warranty issues. Rather than leaving you to work out who to contact, we help manage the applicable warranty process for you.

We don’t consider the handover finished until you’re confident using your system. We’ll set up the app, show you how everything works and walk you through the important features, including viewing your cameras, playback and exporting footage.

Every property is different. Before designing your system, we assess the vulnerable entry points, access routes and higher-risk areas around your property. Your system can then be designed around your home, rather than simply installing the same generic camera package everywhere.

During handover, we show you how to find an event, play it back and export the relevant footage yourself. But if something happens later and you get stuck, you’re not on your own. As part of your 5-year support period, you can contact SCKA for assistance retrieving and exporting footage when required.

Our relationship doesn’t finish when we leave your driveway. SCKA remains your point of contact for support with your system, app and configuration after installation, so you have someone familiar with your system to contact when you need assistance.

We take the finish of the installation seriously. Your system is professionally installed with an emphasis on clean cable runs, appropriate equipment placement and a finished result that looks like it belongs on your home — not something that was added as an afterthought.

You still have SCKA behind you. After your 7-day, 30-day and 365-day check-ins, you continue to have access to SCKA support throughout your 5-year warranty period for covered warranty matters and assistance with system concerns, settings and appropriate adjustments.
